Marks and Spencer is a British fashion brand, but branches from the Middle East are owned by al-Futtaim group, which is one of the largest retail companies in the Middle East.We were lucky enough to be part of their journey to create the brand's first website in the Middle East, and during this time we had the chance to work with the host brand to rebrand the website, trying to improve the user interface and user experience.

Body Shop

The Body Shop, a global leader in ethical and sustainable beauty products, is operated in the Middle East by Alshaya Group. As a member of the Alshaya team, I played a key role in Building The Body Shop's website and mobile application, with a focus on improving the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX). One of the challenges we faced was to integrate the brand's core values into the digital platform while ensuring a smooth and engaging experience for customers. Working closely with The Body Shop team, we successfully overcame these challenges and created a visually appealing, easy-to-use platform that aligned with the brand's ethical and sustainable mission.

Toyota

At Al-Futtaim in Dubai, I played a key role in Toyota's digital marketing, focusing on building a visually appealing website and enhancing the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX). Collaborating closely with the Toyota and Al-Futtaim teams, we implemented effective marketing strategies to strengthen Toyota's online presence and engage with customers in the Dubai market. Through targeted digital campaigns across channels like social media and email marketing, we successfully achieved our objectives. By continuously monitoring performance metrics, we optimized our strategies, ensuring a data-driven approach to drive customer engagement and reinforce Toyota's commitment to quality and innovation in the region.

H&M

H&M, a popular fashion retailer known for its trendy and affordable clothing, operates in the Middle East under Alshaya Group. During my time at Alshaya, I had the opportunity to contribute to the transformation of H&M's website and mobile application, including the localization of content from English to Arabic. Working closely with the H&M team, we successfully enhanced the platform, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience for Arabic-speaking customers.

Jawwy TV, a streaming mobile and tablet application owned by STC in partnership with Intigral, was rebranded from Rocket TV in 2018, targeting the Middle East and Gulf region. During my tenure at STC's Intigral, I had the opportunity to contribute to building the brand from scratch, encompassing various aspects such as design, tone of voice, brand strategy, and marketing plans. Additionally, I played a role in developing the digital product, focusing on UI, UX, and research, resulting in a successful outcome with over 20,000 subscribers in the first year of the new app.

aftron

aftron is a local electronics brand in the UAE owned by al-Futtaim Group, one of the largest retail companies in the Middle East.We were lucky to be part of their journey to rebrand aftron under different types of perspectives (design, tone of voice, brand strategy, marketing plan, target audience), and we got a satisfactory result with 500 bulk orders, including 6,000 electronic parts, in our first six months of website launch since our main target is b2b.

Bath and Body Works is a prominent American cosmetics brand, known for its strength in the industry. In the Middle East, the brand is operated by the Alshaya Group, one of the largest retail companies in the region. I had the opportunity to be involved in the development of the brand's website and mobile application during my time at Alshaya. Dawri Plus is an application that covers the Saudi Arabia football league and offers live streaming of matches. It is owned by STC. During my employment at STC's subsidiary, Intigral, I actively contributed to the development and promotion of this user-friendly mobile application. Dawri Plus provided real-time updates and personalized content to engage sports enthusiasts. Our strategy focused on implementing targeted marketing tactics, such as app store optimization and social media campaigns, to enhance app visibility and drive downloads. Through continuous monitoring of performance metrics and gathering user feedback, we made iterative improvements to ensure an exceptional user experience that aligned with STC's commitment to innovation. Ultimately, our objective was to establish Dawri Plus as a comprehensive sports platform that catered to the evolving needs of its users.

Footlocker, a renowned global footwear and sportswear retailer, partners with Alshaya Group to operate in the Middle East. During my time at Alshaya, I contributed to build Footlocker's website and mobile application. One of the challenges was aligning Footlocker's requirements with the existing Alshaya platform. Despite this challenge, we successfully integrated their unique needs, delivering a visually appealing and seamless shopping experience for sports enthusiasts and footwear lovers in the region.

Ace Hardware, franchised by Al-Futtaim in the UAE, is a globally recognized brand known for delivering exceptional customer experiences. During my tenure at Al-Futtaim, I actively contributed to the development and promotion of the Ace Hardware Website, focusing on enhancing the UI and UX. With a commitment to excellence, we curated an extensive inventory of top-quality hardware products, specifically tailored to the UAE market. Through intuitive UI design and seamless UX, we ensured that users could easily navigate the website, access detailed product information, and make informed purchasing decisions. Through targeted marketing strategies and informative content, we positioned the Ace Hardware Website as the trusted destination for customers seeking reliable and high-quality hardware solutions in the UAE.

During my tenure at Alshaya, I had the privilege to actively participate in the digital marketing endeavors of Starbucks in the Middle East. This encompassed a wide array of initiatives geared towards bolstering the brand's online visibility and fostering customer engagement. Collaborating closely with the Starbucks team, I placed significant emphasis on customizing the experience to cater to the preferences of our customers. Our primary objective was to establish a seamless and captivating user journey that mirrored the warm and inviting ambiance of Starbucks' physical stores. Through the promotion of the wireless charging service offered at Starbucks in partnership with Duracell Powermat, our campaign achieved remarkable success, resulting in a notable 20% increase in footfall at the stores.

Kidzania

As a member of the Alshaya team, I played a key role in building KidZania's website and implementing marketing activities. Focusing on improving the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX), I created an engaging digital platform for young users. Together with the KidZania team, we successfully incorporated the brand's core values into the website, ensuring a seamless experience. Additionally, I contributed to marketing efforts to raise awareness and drive engagement, aligning with KidZania's mission of providing educational and entertaining experiences for children.

Our goal was to provide accurate measurements and assist customers in selecting the right fit for furniture and decor purchases. They prefer green and yellow. Keeping in mind the company's values and preferences, and ensuring that it will work with its planned use cases.

Crunchy's is a take-away restaurant start-up specialising in pancakes and waffles that launched in the Egyptian market in 2019; we were lucky enough to be part of their journey to build the brand from the ground up, including different types of vision (design, tone of voice, brand strategy, and marketing plan), and we achieved a positive result by getting 8000 orders in our first month of launch.
